Blog is as good as dead, but yea gonna share some interesting things here once in awhile
for those who actually comes here good for you it may be useful in GP? lol
or just an interesting read for any curious soul

PARADOX OF LIFE

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but
shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but
have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller
families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less
sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems,
more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little,
drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too
little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too
much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a
living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've
been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street
to meet a new neighbour. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've
done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but
polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write
more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to
rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to
produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods, and slow digestion, big men and small
character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of
two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are
days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night
stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to
quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and
nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to
you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just
hit delete.

Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going
to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to
you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Hey 0920,
For our learning journey(which is compulsory btw) i was hoping we could get it done in the june holidays
I am open to suggestion on locations for the trip
and plz tell me the dates in June that you are NOT free latest by 1st week of june holiday
as the proposal for the trip has to be submitted 2weeks to a month in advance.

Hey guys, weiyao here

the green commitee organised a "Green Challenge" that is compulsory for EVERY CT class to do:

(1) Each CT class is to come up with a useful product made of recycled materials
(2) Along with our prototype we are also supposed to submit a write up explaining how is it useful, hw environmentally friendly it is, types and proportion of recycled materials used and additional materials' cost(if applicable)

Judging criteria:
(1) Environmentally Friendly- 35%
(2) Workability 25%
(3) Durability 20%
(4) Creativity 20%

Prototype and write up to be submitted by 28th April, 12.05 pm

question:Prove that Sqaure root of two is irrational without the use of the calculator.

Solution:
First, we assume √2 is a rational number.
That means we can express √2 as an irreducible fraction a/b , where a and b are coprime numbers.
√2=a/b
2= a²/b²
a²=2b²--(1)
Therefore a² is an even number. Hence, a is also an even number ( since the sqaure of any even number is also even).
Thus a can be represent as a = 2k, where k is a constant.
subsituting a =2k into (1),
4k²=2b²
b²=2k²
Thus, b² and hence b is also even.
Since b and a are even, it contridicts the previous assumtion that a/b is irreducible(e.g. 2/4 , 4/6 , 4/2 , 6/4 are all reducible).
Therefore,√2 is thus an irrational number.

& now to update about today's impromptu class outing! this is counted class outing cos more than 10 came! so add stars! LOL -.-"

anw most memorable thing that happened ytd is the teacher who raise his handsl ike want to hug us like that and keep repeating x12984793814 times. :" aren't you supposed to be in class now?!" and walk towards us. HAHA. =.=

okay now about today lessons was sweet and fast. completed maths lecture, physics lecture. started gp lecture & ended maths tutorial. hahaha. thn was assembly by about brainstorming.

drag until so late! LOL so lesser people can make it for our impromptu class outing cos most cca starts at 3pm. D:

but still... attendance reached 12. :D threee cheers for 0920! :]

so we walked out of school by the other side gate! ^^ some wanted to go amkhub (?!) LOL and some wanted to go serangoon central.

but just like longjohn something pop out. prata! so we went to eat prata whoots! =)

everyone one plain prata! thn only the girls went ahead to eat cai fan. :D the boys dont eat just ate more prata-s. ._.

prata take longer thn 45mins to be done. o.o LOL. so jitnung david and weichit gtg first. D:

finished our prata, some of them went to buy bbletea & we took a group photo! :D & thats all for our outing!

meeting time was 12.30pm & everyone was early (tammie -12pm -.-") or on time! heheh but because of 7-11 kiasu open so many branches, we cant find each other until like 1pm. LOL. :/

after that, we walked over to cathay to check out movie timings. but we dont know what to watch. ._. so we went to eat our lunch first... @ just acia! :D

thought it was budget but sama sama lah from other places. but got free flow drinks & icecream! whoots. xD.

must wait for seats cos 11people (at first), not small group okay. :] the shop worker talk so fierce like kiam pa like that z.

but we got seats that can contain all of us! so yay ty! :D ahah thn we went to spam icecream & soft drinks. :D

eat until halfway for our icecream, the food & david came! ^^

um, marilyn came when we almost finished the food. :]

thn payed the bills w changyu the calculator -.-" and set off for.. boardgaming! loll the pool was canceled. =.=" dont know where to go for pool!

played from 3.10pm to 4.10pm de time, peifang left. D: & kenneth came also. :) everyone play "say what?" while playing other games. & my table played bladderdash ah isit. dont know about the other table.

thn continue playing until 5.10pm where marilyn left D: & weiyao came back after dating. LOL xD. then got some change in seats and my table played imagineiff thingy. LOL kenneth loser so he had to hop like a kangaroo. -.-"

and the survivors continued playing until 6.10pm! ^^ we all combined play a game called guessture (?) i cant rmb the names! elaine lowest points! so she kena forfeit! take pic w opp sex from somewhere. wa thn she damn on lah! hahahah 女强人!

payed the bill thn walked back to ps. elaine left. D: we went to arcade, but like no birdy play leh~ so we started spamming jingpei's hp number cos i thought she coming! i didnt realise the 'maybe' in the msg z. SORRY AH BRUDDAS AND SISTAS. :X

we started windowshopping suggested by weiyao.! we went to comicsconnection (isit?), thn piano [ so artistic sia our class. LOL ], daiso?! where weiyao super on want to shop sommore.

=.=" thn we went to times. & we realised her msg's the 'maybe' ZZ. hahahaha!! so we starve for nothing!

went down to basement to find food but nothing 吸引我们. so went to the kopitiam but 'longjohn' sudddenly appeared & so empty =) can bond, so we went to longjohn. LOL

took turns to order! and started eating. -.-" thn silvester ( 姐妹 8 ) left D:.

we went to another table to continue chatting awhile til 9pm & thn made our way home! ^^

& THAT'S ALL FOR OUR VERY FIRST CLASS OUTING! WHOOTS. THANKYOU DAJIA FOR COMING! :D:D more outings more outings. :D
